Open to new work

Zeynep
Dumlupınar

Full-stack & backend engineer, based in İzmir

I build the parts people see and the parts they don't — APIs in the morning, a polished interface by the afternoon. Mostly Laravel and PHP, happily React or Python when the job calls for it.

A little about me

Who I am

An engineer who likes the whole span of a product.

I'm a software engineer in İzmir who's never picked a side of the stack. My favourite projects are the boring-in-the-best-way ones: tools real people open every day, like the Laravel CRM I built and still keep running in production.

My thesis was on real-time emotion detection with AI — a good reminder that the interesting problems usually sit where people and machines meet.

Away from the editor I'm slowly collecting languages: comfortable in English, getting there in Korean, and chipping away at German and Japanese. It's the same itch as programming, really — learning a new grammar and seeing what you can say with it.

I like small teams, clear problems, and shipping things that outlive the sprint they were built in. But also am pretty adaptive.

Where I've worked

Experience

Software Engineer Nov 2024 – Present
Mindlook Agency — İzmir

I own projects end to end, from the database up to the last bit of CSS. Built a custom Laravel CRM that's live and used daily, and I keep shipping PHP/WordPress plugins and apps on Laravel and CodeIgniter 3/4. Also developed and used my own frameworks based on those technologies.

Software Engineer Nov 2023 – Jan 2024
Thermo Sensor GmbH — Germany (Remote)

Worked on “Menu Order,” an internal food-ordering platform. Also reviewed the automations and error code refactorings in the factory as well.

Software Engineering Intern Sep 2023 – Dec 2023
Ankara Sigorta — Turkey

Built Python tools such as a QR-code generator that turns Excel tables into QR codes and Word lists to Excel tables. Also practised backend mobile work, and helped QA the company website.

QA Tester Jan 2022 – Sep 2022
Sologenix — London, UK (Remote)

Tested “Bidmonkey,” an e-commerce platform, with a distributed team on Asana. Found, documented, and triaged bugs, then coordinated fixes with the developers.
